Our Best Rate Guarantee ensures that when you book directly through the SAii Hotels & Resorts website, you receive the best available rate for your reservation. If a lower rate is discovered within 24 hours after completing your booking, simply submit a claim and our team will review it.

If the rate qualifies under the Best Rate Guarantee terms, we will match the lower price and apply an additional 10% reduction.

If you have not yet made a booking and find a lower rate elsewhere, you may submit a claim before reserving and we will verify the rate.

How to Claim

Step 1: Find a lower rate

Locate a lower publicly available rate for the same hotel stay on another eligible booking website.

Step 2: Capture the detail

Take a screenshot clearly showing the lower rate and the booking details, including dates, room type and price.

Step 3: Submit your claim

Submit the claim form within 24 hours of completing your booking on the SAii Hotels & Resorts website.

If you have not yet booked, claims must be submitted at least 72 hours before your intended arrival date.

Step 4: Claim review

Our team will review your submission and respond within one working day.

1. Which rates qualify for the Best Rate Guarantee?

Rates booked directly through the official SAii Hotels & Resorts website may be compared with rates published on third-party hotel booking websites.

If a lower rate is available for the same stay and meets all conditions outlined in the Terms & Conditions below, it may qualify for the Best Rate Guarantee.

2. How do I submit a claim and how many claims are allowed?

To submit a claim, complete the claim form and provide the details of your booking.

If you have not yet booked but have identified a lower rate elsewhere, you may still submit a claim using the same form.

Only one claim may be submitted per reservation.

3. Do I need to provide proof of the lower rate?

Yes. A screenshot showing the competing rate and the booking details is required.

You should also provide a screenshot of your reservation or the rate displayed on the SAii Hotels & Resorts website.

4. How long does it take to process a claim?

Claims are normally reviewed and verified within one working day.

5. What are third-party booking websites?

Third-party websites are booking platforms that are not owned or operated by SAii Hotels & Resorts.

Examples include travel booking websites such as Booking.com and Agoda.com.

6. Can claims be submitted for rates published in other languages?

Yes. Lower rates published on third-party websites in other languages may still qualify for the Best Rate Guarantee.

7. Does the currency of the competing rate matter?

Competing rates may appear in different currencies.

The final comparison will be calculated in the hotel’s local currency, using the exchange rate applicable at the time the claim is reviewed.

8. Can a reservation be modified after a successful claim?

Once a claim has been approved, the adjusted rate will apply to the reservation details submitted in the claim form.

Any changes to the booking will be treated as a new reservation and will be subject to the rates available at that time.

9. If my claim is approved after payment, will I receive a refund?

No. The difference will be provided as hotel credit, which can be used during your stay for dining, spa treatments or other services.

If you have already paid a deposit or the full amount and later modify your stay, the amount paid will be applied as credit toward the revised reservation.

10. Can DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) be used after a successful claim?

DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) may be used when settling your bill at the hotel.

However, they cannot be applied to deposits required prior to arrival.



Terms & Conditionss

1. Our Best Rate Guarantee

If a lower rate for a SAii DISCOVERY property (SAii or Santiburi) is publicly available on a website not operated by SAii Hotels & Resorts (the “Competing Rate”), we will match that Competing Rate and provide an additional 10% discount per room per night, subject to the claim meeting all requirements outlined in these Best Rate Guarantee Terms and Conditions.

2. Participating Hotels

The Best Rate Guarantee applies to the following properties:

  • SAii Laguna Phuket
  • SAii Koh Samui Villas
  • SAii Phi Phi Island Village
  • Santiburi Koh Samui

The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to SAii Lagoon Maldives or other S Hotels & Resorts properties located outside Thailand.

3. Submitting a Claim

  • Claims must be submitted through the official claim form available on this website.
  • Claims will normally be reviewed within one business day.
  • Claims may be rejected if the form is incomplete or the rate cannot be verified.

Only one claim may be submitted per reservation, and the name on the claim form must match the lead guest name on the booking.

For existing reservations:

  • Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of booking on the SAii Hotels & Resorts website and at least 48 hours before check-in.

For reservations not yet booked:

  • Claims must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to the hotel’s standard check-in time.

4. Conditions for a Valid Claim

To qualify for the Best Rate Guarantee, the following conditions must apply to both the SAii Hotels & Resorts website and the competing website:

  • The rate must be available for booking at the time of verification.
  • The reservation must match exactly in terms of:
    • Hotel property
    • Arrival date and length of stay
    • Number of guests and rooms
    • Room category, bedding and view
  • The rate must include identical inclusions such as taxes, service charges, meals or other bundled items.
  • Booking conditions must be identical, including cancellation policy, deposit requirements and minimum stay rules.
  • Standard hotel policies will apply for children, pets and extra beds.
  • The competing rate must be at least USD 1 lower or equivalent in local currency.

If a stay includes multiple nights, the average nightly rate will be used for comparison.

5. Rates Not Eligible

The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Rates offered through email marketing or direct solicitations
  • Rates requiring coupon codes, discount codes or promotional codes
  • Opaque bookings where the hotel name is not revealed before purchase
  • Rates from request-based websites that do not provide instant confirmation
  • Rates listed on metasearch websites that do not allow direct booking (such as Tripadvisor or Trivago)
  • Package or bundled travel rates
  • Rates not available to the general public
  • Rates resulting from technical errors
  • Price differences caused solely by currency exchange fluctuations
  • Rates requiring alternative payment methods such as instalments, bank cheques or travel vouchers
  • Rates requiring membership, login credentials or restricted access to view the rate

6. Validity and Limitations

  • The Best Rate Guarantee may be suspended if the SAii Hotels & Resorts website is unavailable due to technical issues or circumstances beyond the control of SAii Hotels.
  • SAii Hotels is not responsible for cancellation charges incurred when cancelling reservations made through other booking channels.
  • If a claim is approved, the hotel will adjust the reservation to the lowest verified rate available.
  • Claims may be rejected if the name on the claim form does not match the reservation or if the reservation is modified after submission.
  • SAii Hotels reserves the right to reject claims for stays at properties that will no longer operate under the SAii or Santiburi brand on the intended stay date.
  • Disputes relating to the Best Rate Guarantee will be governed by the laws of Thailand.
  • SAii Hotels reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Best Rate Guarantee at any time without prior notice.
  • SAii Hotels may restrict participation in the Best Rate Guarantee in cases of fraudulent activity, repeated invalid claims, or breaches of these terms.
