A collection of refreshed hillside sanctuaries combines panoramic sea views, southern Thai craftsmanship and sustainable design inspired by island life.

Bangkok, Thailand (15 Oct 2026) – SAii Phi Phi Island Village, a Green Globe-certified five-star eco-conscious resort nestled in the Andaman Sea, has unveiled its newly reimagined Hillside Pool Villas, marking a new chapter for one of Koh Phi Phi’s most exclusive accommodation offerings. Designed around the belief that peace of mind is the ultimate luxury, the refreshed 12 villas combine contemporary comfort with regional craftsmanship, immersive natural surroundings and a strong commitment to sustainable design.

While renovating the resort’s Hillside Pool Villas, Oceanview Hillside Pool Villas and Two-Bedroom Oceanview Hillside Pool Villas, the S Hotels & Resorts in-house design team preserved the original villa structures, maintaining their coveted hillside setting amidst lush tropical rainforest. The interiors, meanwhile, have been comprehensively refreshed, while ensuring that returning guests will find much of what made these retreats so special remains unchanged: uninterrupted ocean views, exceptional privacy and full-sized swimming pools designed for carefree days in the Andaman sun.

Crafted by nature

Throughout the villas, a discerning eye will notice design details that celebrate the maritime heritage and traditional craftsmanship of southern Thailand. A bespoke minibar installation inspired by marine mooring buoys references the conservation-friendly systems used to protect fragile coral reefs from anchor damage.

In the bathrooms, sculptural rope-inspired lighting draws on traditional maritime forms, while handwoven krajood headboards introduce a centuries-old southern Thai weaving technique into the contemporary interiors.

Sustainability plays an equally important role in the redesign. Private terraces have been finished with Dasso bamboo decking, crafted from rapidly renewable Moso bamboo and offering the durability of hardwood with a significantly lower environmental footprint. Elsewhere, strategically positioned skylights flood the bathrooms with natural daylight, reducing reliance on artificial lighting while strengthening the connection between indoor spaces and the surrounding tropical environment.

In addition to dedicated butler service, every Hillside Villa stay now offers complimentary shared sea transfers for longer stays, along with a limited-time opportunity to accelerate to Titanium tier through the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme for qualifying stays.

For further information, please visit www.saiihotels.com/phiphiisland-village.

END

About SAii Hotels & Resorts

SAii Hotels & Resorts is an upper-upscale sustainable lifestyle hotel brand from Thailand-based S Hotels and Resorts PCL that redefines affordable luxury by delivering personalised peace-of-mind through heartfelt service, serene nature-inspired environments and tailored guest experiences in stunning locales in Thailand and the Maldives.

SAii Hotels & Resorts is a proud member of the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) and the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme.Find out more at saiiresorts.com or follow us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.

About S Hotels and Resorts Public Company Limited

S Hotels and Resorts Public Company Limited (SET: SHR), the hospitality arm of Singha Estate Public Company Limited (SET: S), is a fast-growing, Thai-inspired company with an extensive international portfolio and world-class standards.
